This station uses a Davis Instruments Weather Monitor II

The complete station is comprised of a 3 cup annemometer, and a wind vane mouted 10' above the side peak of the roof.  The Temperature/Humidity probe is mounted inside a fan asperated sun shield that is solar powered during the day.  A self emptying rain guage is used that is heated during the winter months.  It is capable of reading 0.01" of rain.  Pressure is sensed from with in the console located in the basement.

The soul of my station is the computer and the Weather View32 software.  This alows me real time monitoring of the weather plus updates this web page every 5 minutes.
The software allows me to place scrolling graphs for wind speed, dial indicators for wind direction, temperature or any combination there of.
This station also shares the information with the Weather Underground and the National Weather Service.
Use the links above to check out the software and hardware for yourself.
